The Call for Papers No. 13 of img-journal explores how AI-generated imagery transforms visual culture, challenging traditional paradigms of visual cognition, style, and knowledge-making. We invite critical contributions on the epistemological, ethical, and educational implications of synthetic visual cognition, algorithmic aesthetics, hyporealism, and the changing nature of visual representation in space-based disciplines.
