La necessità di definire una riflessione a più voci sul tema “Gendered Visualities. Architectures, Images, Languages” è manifesto di una reazione, ormai improrogabile, all’omologazione delle espressioni, delle parole, delle identità. Una controparte necessaria alle quotidiane costellazioni di categorie che, oggi più che mai, vengono condizionate dalle democrature emergenti.
Questa giornata di studi internazionale, con l’obiettivo di affrancarsi dal secolare pregiudizio stigmatizzato, di dominio maschile, su diversi campi del sapere, tenta di attivare un dibattito, a partire dall’Università, che metta insieme visioni plurali, sul tema dello spazio, delle immagini e dei paradigmi impiegati come mezzi per comunicare il progetto e il corpo nello spazio. Una riflessione congiunta per fare luce sul modo in cui strutture di potere androcentriche abbiano ostacolato e inibito visioni e progettualità in divenire sul tema del costruire e dell’immaginare, negando linguaggi ed espressioni del “post-umano”.
La giornata “Gendered visualities. Architectures, Images, Languages”, patrocinata dall’Associazione Italiana Donne Ingegneri Architetti (AIDIA), supportata dall’Ordine degli Architetti di Trento, che erogherà 4+4 [oppure] 8 cfp per lɘ architettɘ degli Albi nazionali e dall’Ordine degli Ingegneri di Trento che erogherà 3 cfp, mira ad avviare un confronto tra studentǝ, accademichǝ, professionistǝ, associazioni no profit sulla traccia di argomenti presentati da espertǝ che avvieranno il dibattito sul tema dell’architettura, della pianificazione urbana, del paesaggio, dal Novecento ad oggi, con ottica di genere, declinando le questioni in diversi ambiti: sociologici, giuridici, professionali e accademici.
The need to define a multi-voice reflection on the theme of Gendered Visualities. Architectures, images and languages is a symptom of a by now imperative reaction to the standardisation of expressions, words and identities. A necessary counterpart to the daily constellations of categories more and more conditioned by emerging democratures.
Aiming to free itself from the age-old stigmatised prejudice of male dominance in various fields of knowledge, this international study-day attempts to activate a debate, starting from the University, bringing together plural visions, on the theme of space, images and codes used as means of communicating the project. A joint reflection to shed light on the way in which androcentric power structures have hindered and inhibited visions and projects in the making on the theme of building and imagining, denying languages and expressions of the “post-human”.The study-day sponsored by the Italian Association of Women Engineers-Architects (AIDIA) aims to initiate a comparison between students, academics, professionals, non-profit associations on the track of topics presented by experts who will launch the debate on the theme of architecture, urban planning, landscape, from the twentieth century to the present day, with a gender perspective, declining the issues in different areas: sociological, legal, professional and academic.
